The Viking VFLEXPCB Pre-2016 Control Board (Black Logo) is the central controller for legacy Viking DC gate operators, delivering UL325-compliant performance and clear diagnostics to support reliable operation in residential, commercial, and light-industrial gate environments.
This replacement board enables maintenance and upgrades of aging Viking DC systems, providing on-board diagnostics via an LCD, adaptive motor control, and robust safety features. Real-time status, cycle counts, motor current, and fault codes streamline troubleshooting and planning. It offers a 24VDC accessory output at 750 mA, supports battery backup for up to 400 full cycles on a 600 lb gate, and includes surge protection up to 20,000 volts / 10,000 amps. The all-weather design withstands temperatures from -20°F to 160°F and uses a thermostat-controlled heater for reliable operation in extreme environments. UL325 compliance includes obstruction sensing and multi-device entrapment protection for safer gate operation.
Compatibility and identification: Compatible with most Viking DC operators including R6, F1, K2, L3, G5, T21, and X390 24VDC (note: H-10 models are excluded). For correct replacement, identify the board by sticker color and UL year: Black Pre-2016 VFLEXPCB; Green 2016 VFLEXPCBU16; Orange Post-2018 VFLEXPCBU18.
