Manufacturer Warranty Coverage

Most products sold by GatePoint Solutions include manufacturer warranty coverage.

Warranty terms, coverage periods, limitations, and claim approvals are determined by the product manufacturer. Unless otherwise stated in writing, GatePoint Solutions does not provide independent or supplemental warranties beyond those offered by the manufacturer.


Warranty Claim Process

Warranty claims typically begin directly with the product manufacturer.

To assist with warranty processing, customers may be required to provide one of the following issued by the manufacturer:

  • Manufacturer case number
  • Support ticket number
  • Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number

Manufacturer authorization may be required before warranty returns, replacements, exchanges, or repairs can be processed.


GatePoint Solutions Warranty Assistance

After manufacturer authorization has been provided, GatePoint Solutions may assist with:

  • Coordinating approved warranty returns
  • Facilitating authorized replacements
  • Assisting with warranty-related logistics
  • Coordinating approved exchanges when applicable

Warranty approvals and final claim determinations remain the responsibility of the manufacturer.


Warranty Exclusions

Warranty coverage may be voided or denied in situations involving:

  • Improper installation
  • Incorrect wiring or configuration
  • Product misuse or abuse
  • Unauthorized modifications or repairs
  • Environmental or weather-related damage
  • Power surges or electrical damage
  • Improper maintenance
  • Use outside manufacturer specifications

Installation Responsibility

Unless otherwise stated in writing, GatePoint Solutions does not provide installation services.

Products should be installed and serviced by qualified professionals familiar with applicable electrical, safety, and local code requirements.

GatePoint Solutions is not responsible for product failures, damages, or warranty issues resulting from improper installation or misuse.


Shipping & Warranty Returns

Warranty returns must comply with manufacturer return procedures and packaging requirements.

Shipping responsibilities, packaging standards, and return authorization procedures may vary by manufacturer.

GatePoint Solutions is not responsible for warranty claim denials issued by manufacturers.
