Description
The Vandal Resistant Flush-Mount Access Control Keypad is a rugged standalone solution for secure door access. Built to endure outdoor and high-traffic environments, it offers flexible coding, strong security features, and simple, keypad-wide programming directly at the device.
- Power and operation: 12–24 VAC/VDC auto-adjusting operation for versatile power sources without additional adapters.
- Extensive user code capacity: Up to 1,000 user codes for output #1 (000–999) and 100 codes for output #2 (001–100); includes up to 50 temporary visitor codes (01–50) for one-time or limited-time use (1–99 hours).
- Programmable outputs: Output #1 Form C relay (1A@30VDC max); Output #2 transistor ground (100mA@24VDC). Each output can be activated for up to 99,999 seconds (nearly 28 hours).
- Security features: Duress codes—up to 50 for output #1 and 10 for output #2—to trigger a silent alarm if someone is forced to open the door; tamper output is a NC dry contact (50mA@24VDC max).
- Anti-tailgating and egress: Door sensor input supports anti-tailgating operation; egress input lets authorized users exit without entering a code.
- Durability and installation: Vandal resistant, flush-mount design that mounts to a standard single-gang back box; IP66 weatherproof rating; keypad backlight programmable for FULL or AUTO in standby mode.
- Interlock and expansion: Interlocking input available for connecting a second keypad to broaden access control coverage.
- Programming and maintenance: All features are programmed directly from the keypad—no external programmer required—streamlining setup and changes.
- Memory and reliability: EEPROM memory protects all programmed information in case of power loss, ensuring quick recovery after outages.
- Unit specs: Power range 12–24 VAC/VDC, IP66 rating, flush-mount to single-gang back box, backlit keypad with FULL/AUTO standby modes, non-volatile memory for persistent settings.
This keypad is ideal for facilities requiring resilient, scalable access control that can operate independently without external hardware. It supports diverse entry configurations—from simple door access to complex, multi-code environments—while providing immediate, on-device programming, robust security features (including silent duress alarms), and reliable performance in challenging conditions. Whether you’re securing a campus, warehouse, apartment complex, or outdoor gate, this vandal-resistant keypad delivers precise control, easy maintenance, and dependable operation.
