Description
The Optex OVS-02GT(GR) Virtual Loop 2.0 Vehicle Presence Sensor is a genuine OEM above-ground radar-based vehicle detection sensor designed for automatic gates, barrier arms, parking systems, and industrial doors. Finished in a light gray housing, this model offers the same advanced performance as the standard OVS-02GT while providing an alternate color option to better complement lighter gate operators, barrier housings, and architectural installations.
Utilizing 24 GHz FMCW (Frequency Modulated Continuous Wave) Distance Measuring Radar, the OVS-02GT(GR) accurately detects both moving and stationary vehicles with an adjustable detection range of up to 26 feet, while intelligently filtering out nearly all pedestrian traffic. Unlike traditional inductive loop systems, the Virtual Loop 2.0 installs completely above ground—eliminating the need for saw-cutting, trenching, or coring concrete or asphalt, dramatically reducing installation time and cost.
The sensor is easily configured using the Optex smartphone app, allowing installers to adjust detection zones, sensitivity, human detection settings, and output functions directly from their mobile device. A built-in heater, IP66 weather-resistant housing, wide-angle adjustment, and dual relay outputs provide reliable operation in rain, snow, dust, and extreme temperatures.
