The photo eye transmitter and receiver establish an invisible infrared beam across the gate opening. When the beam is interrupted by an obstruction, the connected gate operator receives a signal to stop or reverse movement, helping prevent accidental contact and supporting UL-compliant gate safety requirements.
Designed with BlueBUS two-wire communication, the EPMB/A simplifies installation by carrying both power and data over a single cable pair.
