The Nice EPMAB/A BlueBUS Photo Eyes are genuine OEM through-beam safety photocells designed for compatible Nice automatic gate operators equipped with BlueBUS technology. Housed in a medium-sized cast metal alloy enclosure, the EPMAB/A delivers dependable obstacle detection while offering enhanced durability for demanding residential, commercial, and industrial environments.
The transmitter and receiver create an invisible infrared safety beam across the gate opening. If a vehicle, pedestrian, or other obstruction interrupts the beam, the gate operator is signaled to stop or reverse, helping protect people, vehicles, and property while supporting safe gate operation.
The integrated BlueBUS two-wire communication system simplifies installation by carrying both power and communication over a single cable pair. The rugged non-adjustable cast metal housing provides excellent resistance to weather, impacts, and corrosion, making the EPMAB/A ideal for high-traffic and heavy-duty applications.
