The Nice EPLOB/A BlueBUS Photo Eyes are genuine OEM through-beam safety photocells designed for compatible Nice automatic gate operators utilizing BlueBUS technology. Featuring a large adjustable housing, the EPLOB/A provides reliable obstacle detection while simplifying installation and alignment for residential, commercial, and industrial gate automation systems.
Using through-beam infrared technology, the transmitter and receiver create an invisible safety beam across the gate opening. If the beam is interrupted by a vehicle, pedestrian, or other obstruction, the gate operator receives a signal to stop or reverse movement, helping protect people, vehicles, and property while maintaining UL-compliant safety operation.
The integrated BlueBUS communication system reduces wiring requirements by allowing power and communication over a simple two-wire connection, making installation faster and more efficient. The adjustable housing provides additional flexibility when aligning the photo eyes in challenging installation environments.
