The LiftMaster S505AL is a monitored small profile resistive safety edge designed to help protect automated gate systems by detecting obstructions during gate movement. Engineered for use with compatible LiftMaster monitored gate operators, this 5 ft. safety edge provides reliable entrapment protection for commercial and residential access control applications.
Constructed with an integrated aluminium mounting channel, the S505AL is designed for fast installation and dependable long-term performance in demanding outdoor environments. The edge sends a monitored signal to stop and/or reverse gate operation when contact with an obstruction is detected, helping maintain UL 325 compliant gate system operation. Its compact profile allows for flexible installation on slide gates, swing gates, and other automated perimeter security systems.
