The LiftMaster CAPXMMC Smart Video Intercom – Medium is a cloud-based access control solution designed for multifamily communities, apartment complexes, gated neighborhoods, commercial buildings, and mixed-use properties. Positioned between the CAPXS and CAPXLV2 models, the CAPXMMC combines an intuitive HD touchscreen, integrated wide-angle video camera, and the powerful myQ® Community platform to deliver secure, scalable visitor management and remote property access. It supports up to two gates and/or doors, making it ideal for properties with multiple controlled entry points.
Residents can see and communicate with visitors using the myQ Community App, then grant or deny access directly from their smartphone. Property managers can remotely manage residents, credentials, schedules, activity logs, and notifications from a centralized cloud dashboard, eliminating the need for traditional keys and simplifying community management.
The CAPXMMC features an integrated 1080p HD camera with a 135° wide-angle field of view, providing clear visitor identification day or night. Installation is simplified with Ethernet or Wi-Fi connectivity, and compatible LiftMaster UL 325 gate operators can communicate wirelessly to reduce trenching and installation costs when supported by current firmware.
