The LiftMaster CAP2D Smart Access 2-Door Controller is a cloud-based access control solution designed to manage up to two doors, gates, or controlled access points from a single controller. Built on the myQ® Community platform, the CAP2D provides secure credential management, remote administration, and scalable access control for multifamily communities, commercial buildings, gated neighborhoods, offices, parking facilities, and industrial properties.
Designed to work behind the scenes, the CAP2D connects with compatible Wiegand readers, keypads, RFID readers, and LiftMaster Smart Readers to create a flexible access control system. Property managers can remotely manage users, schedules, credentials, and activity logs through the myQ Community web portal while residents and authorized users enjoy secure, convenient access. Even if internet connectivity is temporarily lost, the controller's local memory allows authorized users to continue accessing the property.
The CAP2D supports up to 25,000 local users, stores 6,000 event history records, and features 2 Wiegand inputs along with 4 relay outputs (2 primary and 2 auxiliary) for controlling multiple access points and connected devices. Its compact design, backup battery, and Ethernet connectivity make it an ideal solution for both new installations and expanding existing LiftMaster access control systems.
