Description
The EMX LRS-FP-100 Flat Pack Vehicle Detection Sensor is a stand-alone magnetoresistive sensor designed for use with the EMX LRS-C1 Controller as part of the EMX Loop Replacement System (LRS). This version includes a 100-foot lead and is ideal for automatic gates, barrier gates, parking systems, drive-thrus, loading docks, and access control applications where traditional inductive loops are costly or impractical. The sensor utilizes advanced 3-axis magnetoresistive sensing technology to detect changes in the Earth's magnetic field caused by ferrous vehicles, providing reliable vehicle presence detection without conventional inductive loops.
The compact flat pack design installs with a single saw cut in asphalt or concrete, significantly reducing installation time and labor compared to traditional loop systems. Once programmed using the EMX LRS-C1 Controller, the sensor stores its calibration and operating parameters in non-volatile memory and continues operating independently. It also supports EMX's exclusive DETECT-ON-STOP™ (DOS®) technology, which detects only stopped vehicles to minimize false activations from cross traffic. Please note: This listing includes the sensor with a 100-foot lead only. The **EMX LRS-C1 Controller is required for operation and is sold separately.
