The EMX LRS-DB-100-K Long-Range Vehicle Detection Kit is a complete loop replacement vehicle detection system designed to provide accurate, reliable vehicle presence detection without the expense and labor of traditional inductive loops. The kit includes a direct burial magnetoresistive sensor, a 100-foot lead, and the EMX LRS-C1 controller, making it an ideal solution for automatic gates, barrier arms, parking facilities, and commercial access control systems. The LRS utilizes advanced 3-axis magnetoresistive sensing technology to detect changes in the Earth's magnetic field caused by ferrous vehicles, delivering dependable performance in both above-grade and below-grade installations.
Unlike conventional loop systems that require multiple saw cuts, the LRS-DB-100-K installs with a single saw cut or direct burial, significantly reducing installation time and costs. The included 100-foot lead provides added flexibility for larger installations, while the IP69K-rated direct burial sensor is engineered to withstand harsh underground environments. The system also features EMX's exclusive DETECT-ON-STOP™ (DOS®) technology, which ignores cross traffic by detecting only vehicles that come to a complete stop within the detection zone.
