Description
The EMX LRS-C1 Controller is the dedicated control unit for a single EMX LRS Flat Pack (LRS-FP) or Direct Burial (LRS-DB) magnetoresistive vehicle detection sensor. As the central component of the EMX Loop Replacement System (LRS), the LRS-C1 processes sensor signals and provides relay outputs for automatic gate operators, barrier gates, parking systems, and access control equipment.
Designed to work with EMX's advanced 3-axis magnetoresistive sensing technology, the LRS-C1 allows installers to configure sensor sensitivity, select X, Y, and Z detection axes, calibrate the sensor, and enable EMX's exclusive DETECT-ON-STOP™ (DOS®) feature, which activates only after a vehicle has come to a complete stop to reduce unwanted activations from cross traffic. The controller also features the ULTRAMETER™ sensitivity display for quick setup and troubleshooting.
Operating on 12–30 VDC or 24 VAC, the LRS-C1 includes an SPDT relay output and NPN open-collector output for flexible integration with automatic gate operators and access control systems. It is required for programming and calibrating LRS sensors and serves as the primary interface between the sensor and the controlled device.
