Unlike reflective photoeyes, the IRB-325 utilizes separate transmitter and receiver units to create a dependable infrared safety beam with an operating range from 6 to 65 feet. The included gray powder-coated steel protective hoods help shield both sensors from sunlight, rain, snow, debris, and accidental impact while minimizing false triggering caused by harsh environmental conditions.
