The EMX CR-2000 Waterproof Proximity Card Reader & Keypad is a rugged, standalone 125 kHz RFID access control device designed for automatic gates, pedestrian doors, parking facilities, commercial buildings, apartment communities, and industrial properties. Combining a weatherproof proximity card reader with a backlit keypad, the CR-2000 supports up to 2,000 users through RFID credentials, PIN codes, or a combination of both, delivering flexible and secure access control for virtually any application.
Constructed with a vandal-resistant waterproof metal housing, the CR-2000 is built to withstand harsh indoor and outdoor environments. It features a 26-bit Wiegand output for seamless integration with most access control systems while also offering relay output for standalone installations. Additional security features include a built-in tamper alarm, short-circuit protection, adjustable relay activation time, and user access monitoring. The illuminated keypad ensures easy operation in low-light conditions, while low standby power consumption makes it an excellent choice for energy-efficient and solar-powered installations.
