The DoorKing 9240 is specifically designed for the largest and most demanding slide gate applications. Utilizing a robust 30:1 oil-bath gear reduction system, a 3 HP industrial motor, and heavy-duty #80 drive chain, the operator delivers exceptional torque and smooth gate movement even under extreme operating conditions.
The adjustable solid-state speed controller allows operation from approximately 0.3 to 2 feet per second, while integrated slow-start and slow-stop functionality reduces stress on gate structures and mechanical components. The included heavy-duty mounting pedestal provides the structural support necessary for operating oversized gates in military, utility, transportation, and industrial environments.
