The DoorKing 9210 Series is a heavy-duty maximum security slide gate operator engineered for Class III and Class IV applications where controlled access, perimeter security, and long-term reliability are critical. Designed for government facilities, military installations, utility sites, industrial campuses, transportation facilities, and other restricted-access environments, the 9210 combines rugged construction, continuous-duty performance, and fail-secure operation in a versatile slide gate platform.
Built around a powerful 1 HP continuous-duty motor and a heavy-duty oil-bath gear reduction system, the 9210 Series is capable of operating large slide gates up to 100 feet in length and up to 3,000 pounds depending on chain configuration. The operator is designed to mount at the front, center, or rear of the gate, simplifying installation while providing the flexibility required for high-security facilities.
Performance & Application
The 9210 Series was developed specifically for limited-access and restricted-access facilities where gate security is more important than public accessibility. Unlike residential and commercial operators, the 9210 incorporates fail-secure operation, ensuring the gate remains secured during power loss conditions while still allowing authorized manual operation using the included crank system.
Powered by a 1 HP continuous-duty motor, the operator utilizes a 40:1 oil-bath gear reduction system for smooth, dependable operation. Depending on the chain configuration selected, the operator can support gates weighing up to 2,000 pounds with #50 chain or up to 3,000 pounds with #60 chain while accommodating gate lengths up to 100 feet.
