Powered by a 1 HP continuous-duty AC motor, the 6500-385 is designed to automate swing gates up to 22 feet in length and 800 pounds. Its unique breakaway hub helps protect the gearbox if the gate is accidentally struck, while the belt-drive design minimizes wear and contributes to quieter operation. Available in pad-mount or post-mount configurations, the operator adapts easily to a variety of commercial installations.
When paired with the DoorKing 6500-384 primary operator, the 6500-385 creates a complete dual swing gate solution compatible with DoorKing telephone entry systems, keypads, card readers, RF transmitters, loop detectors, and monitored safety devices. Secondary operators include a 50-foot interconnection cable for simplified installation and dual gate synchronization. When installed with the required monitored entrapment protection devices, the system complies with UL 325 and UL 991 safety requirements.
