Description
The DoorKing 1601-812 is a genuine OEM 12-foot folding octagonal aluminum barrier arm designed for DoorKing 1601 barrier gate operators installed in locations with limited overhead clearance. Its two-piece hinged design allows the barrier arm to fold as it raises, making it the ideal solution for parking garages, parking structures, loading facilities, and other applications where a standard barrier arm cannot fully open due to low ceilings.
Manufactured from heavy-duty octagonal aluminum, the 1601-812 provides outstanding rigidity, corrosion resistance, and long-term durability while maintaining smooth operator performance. The arm is designed for use with the required DoorKing 1601-242 Arm Hardware Kit (sold separately) and is compatible with the optional 1601-822 Lighted Reverse Edge Kit, providing enhanced visibility and UL 325-compliant obstacle detection.
Its folding design consists of two 6-foot hinged sections that collapse as the arm opens, allowing reliable operation in garages and other installations where vertical clearance is restricted. A minimum ceiling height of approximately 10 feet is recommended.
