Description
The CellGate E1VPN Entría Single-Door Controller is an enclosed, cloud-managed access control solution designed to manage one door, gate, or entry point using a hardwired Ethernet connection. This model features CellGate's secure DESFire EV3 encrypted credential technology, making it an excellent choice for commercial facilities, multifamily communities, gated properties, amenity areas, and other single-entry applications.
The E1VPN combines an encrypted DESFire EV3 credential reader, Bluetooth 5.0 contactless entry, QR code reader, and backlit numeric keypad in a single enclosed controller. These multiple access methods allow residents, employees, visitors, vendors, and other authorized users to access the property using physical credentials, smartphones, QR Visitor Passes, or PIN codes.
The controller connects to existing internet infrastructure using CellGate's one-step Ethernet VPN connectivity and is remotely managed through TrueCloud Connect and the CellGate app. Credentials are stored locally, allowing authorized credential access to continue during temporary network interruptions.

Important: The E1VPN is the DESFire EV3 / wired internet version of CellGate's enclosed Entría E1DC. CellGate also offers E1ATT for AT&T LTE and E1VZN for Verizon LTE. For installations requiring HID credentials instead of DESFire EV3, the corresponding wired model is E1HIDVPN.
CellGate states that Entría products require a monthly recurring service charge for ongoing TrueCloud Connect and CellGate app functionality, transaction/photo storage, and access-control data transmission.
