Description
The CellGate E1HIDVPN Entría Single-Door Controller is an enclosed, cloud-managed access control solution designed to manage one door, gate, or entry point using a hardwired internet connection. This HID version combines a built-in credential reader, Bluetooth 5.0 contactless entry, QR code reader, and backlit numeric keypad into a rugged enclosed controller.
Designed for commercial properties, multifamily communities, pedestrian entrances, and gated access applications, the E1HIDVPN connects through a one-step wired internet VPN connection and is remotely managed through CellGate's TrueCloud Connect platform and CellGate app.
The E1HIDVPN supports HID credentials and also includes a 26-bit Wiegand input, allowing an additional compatible third-party reader to be integrated when required. Credentials are stored locally so authorized access can continue during a network interruption.

Important: The E1HIDVPN is the enclosed HID model. It should not be confused with the E1HIDMVPN, which is CellGate's all-in-one mullion-mount version. CellGate's current documentation specifically lists E1HIDVPN as the HID wired-VPN configuration of the enclosed E1DC.
CellGate also states that Entría products incur a monthly recurring service charge for ongoing use of TrueCloud Connect, the CellGate app, transaction/photo storage, and access-control data transmission.
