The CellGate CGIHIDMU Infinity HID Mullion Reader is a multi-function access control reader designed to provide multiple credential and entry methods in a compact mullion-mount configuration. This HID version combines Bluetooth BLE mobile access, 125 kHz HID Prox credential support, QR code scanning, and a backlit numeric keypad, providing a versatile solution for pedestrian doors, gates, amenity entrances, and other controlled access points.
The CGIHIDMU is specifically designed for applications using 125 kHz HID Prox credentials. This model provides compatibility with existing HID Prox card and fob populations and does not use CellGate's DESFire EV3 encrypted credential technology.
An integrated QR code reader allows compatible CellGate systems to support temporary and visitor credentials, while the backlit numeric keypad provides convenient PIN-based entry. Bluetooth BLE functionality adds smartphone-based access for authorized users through compatible CellGate systems.
Its slim mullion-mount design makes the CGIHIDMU ideal for installation on narrow door frames and other locations where a full-size reader may not be practical.
