Description
The Cartell CW-SEN Wireless Vehicle Detection Sensor is a self-contained magnetometer sensor puck designed for use with Cartell CW-SYS and CW-CON wireless vehicle detection systems. Featuring an integrated sensor, radio transmitter, and antenna, the CW-SEN detects moving steel vehicles and wirelessly transmits a signal to compatible Cartell receivers, making it ideal for driveway alerts, automatic gate free-exit systems, and home automation applications. It installs in under an hour with no trenching required and can be mounted in the ground, in the driveway, or on a fixed object adjacent to the driveway.
The CW-SEN uses advanced magnetic disturbance technology to detect vehicles traveling at 5 MPH or greater, eliminating false alarms caused by people, animals, or blowing debris. Sensitivity can be adjusted for different driveway layouts, and multiple sensors can be installed on wide or multi-entrance properties. Each sensor can be paired with an unlimited number of compatible Cartell sounders and integrators, while each receiver can support multiple sensors. The sensor is powered by two included CR123A lithium batteries and includes two auger screws for secure installation.
